Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 3 September 2026
Freelance Toolbox participates in affiliate programs run by software companies whose products are relevant to freelancers — invoicing, accounting, contract, and payment tools.
What that means in practice
Some links on this site to third-party products are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to sign up or buy, we may receive a commission from that company. It costs you nothing extra — the price is the same as going there directly.
What it does not mean
An affiliate relationship never changes what a calculator tells you. The math is the math. We also don't accept payment to describe a product as better than we think it is, and where a genuinely free option exists that would serve a reader better than a paid one, we say so.
Why we do it this way
The calculators are free and have no ads, no email wall, and no account requirement. Affiliate commissions on tools people were already shopping for are what pay for the site to exist without charging visitors or selling their attention.
Questions
If you want to know whether a specific link is an affiliate link, just ask — we'll tell you straight.
